This document defines and provides examples of the different types of adjectives: descriptive adjectives describe nouns and provide information; quantitative adjectives provide information about quantity; proper adjectives are derived from proper nouns; demonstrative adjectives refer to something near or far; possessive adjectives indicate ownership; interrogative adjectives ask questions; indefinite adjectives provide indefinite information; compound adjectives combine multiple words; and adjectives have positive, comparative, and superlative degrees.
