Welcome! Let me introduce you to ADDIE. ADDIE is a generic process for instructional design. It provides you with a roadmap to design training materials. With ADDIE you can develop a checklist of items that should be taken into consideration when designing instruction.
ADDIE is an acronym for the steps in instructional design. Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and evaluation.
Some of ADDIE’s advantages are: It provides a consistent process for developing trainingIt is cost effective because it does not require any technology purchases or special softwareBy providing us with a road map we make sure nothing is missed the first time around.This process can be modified to fit the needs varied training needs.
We will adapt the ADDIE process to our specific needs and we will use a simplified version of ADDIE to fit our needs. We will look at all the components of ADDIE in another presentation.
