- Welcome! Let me introduce you to ADDIE. ADDIE is a generic process for instructional design. It provides you with a roadmap to design training materials. With ADDIE you can develop a checklist of items that should be taken into consideration when designing instruction.
- ADDIE is an acronym for the steps in instructional design. Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and evaluation.
- Some of ADDIE’s advantages are: It provides a consistent process for developing trainingIt is cost effective because it does not require any technology purchases or special softwareBy providing us with a road map we make sure nothing is missed the first time around.This process can be modified to fit the needs varied training needs.
- We will adapt the ADDIE process to our specific needs and we will use a simplified version of ADDIE to fit our needs. We will look at all the components of ADDIE in another presentation.
