To add a child to the attendance list for a specific day, do not edit their permanent days on their profile. Instead, manually add the child to the attendances for that day by clicking the plus button in the attendances report on the portal or app. Updating a child's permanent days will not automatically add them to future attendances.

1. Adding Children to Attendances
- We batch your Attendances 2 weeks in advance and again the night before.
- If you want to add a child to the Attendances list for the day DON’T edit their
permanent days on their profile. You will need to add them manually to the
attendances for the day (or in advance).

- DO NOT update their permanent days. This will NOT add them to the Attendances
for the day.
- Only change this if the child’s permanent days have changed.

3. Adding Children to Attendances
- On your Portal go to Reports > Attendances and click the + button to add a child to
the list.
- You can also add a child for future dates too by running the report for a future
date.

- If you’re on the App. Search for the child, click on their name and on the
Attendances section tap the + button to add them to the attendances for the day.

- The child should now be successfully added to the Attendance list!!!
