Goals
(1) Evaluate and build relationships with young talent.
(2) Give back to the community.
(3) Generate buzz that leads to more sales.
(4) Feel good.
(5) Get stuff done.

Program Overview
Dates (9 weeks): June 1 – July 16.
Pay: Summer stipend.
Location: Charlotte, NC.
Internship Positions (5 total): acct mgmt, planning, tech - development, and creative – art
and copywriting.

Internship Work Mix
Overview: 60% project work, 40% ongoing Ag Agency client work.

Ad Agency will hold an online competition where Charlotte local businesses will compete
to be the Ad Agency intern client. Client will receive a new website, digital media
strategy document, and brand recommendation document. If a local non profit is
selected, these services will be free – if a for-profit is selected, the business must donate
$1,000 to a charity of their choice.

Interns will be setup and work with the client as an agency within an agency. They will
hold client meetings, develop a creative brief, present internally, and ultimately deliver to
a client. It is up to the intern team to workout a timeline.

On top of this client project, interns will support different departments within Ad Agency.
It’s up to the interns to balance the workload.

Intern Education
(1) Interns have one hour Q&A meetings with Agency leadership.
(2) Interns get to sit in on a creative meeting.
(3) Interns will present a weekly project update to Agency leadership.
(4) Local marketing executives are invited to our internship speaker series.

Logistics
(1) 5 interns will be chosen by April 16th. Recruiting will come from inbound leads,
referrals, and local universities. After which, site will be created for local business to
apply for the Ad Agency Intern Client project. Companies will be screened and chosen
by May 20th.
(2) Interns will supply their own laptop.
(3) Schedule for designated project time vs Ad Agency ongoing work
