Cyber bullying is defined as the act of bullying others through modern technologies like social media. It usually involves spreading rumors, making threats, or teasing others online where information is publicly shared and judged. Some common causes of cyber bullying include seeking revenge, entertainment, or boosting one's ego. The effects on victims can include depression, low self-esteem, poor academic performance, fear of technology, and lack of sleep. To prevent cyber bullying, people should raise awareness, think before posting personal information online, use privacy controls, and block harassing individuals.

According to Merriam Webster (2018), “cyber is - of, relating to, or involving
computers or computer networks (such as the Internet).”

• According to a website named stopbullying.gov, “Bullying is unwanted, aggressive
behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power
imbalance.” Bullying may be repeated that will cause a lot of problems to the
victims, as well as to the bullies.
• Bullying includes actions which harms other people such as making a threat,
spreading rumors, teasing, boycotting, and physical or verbal attack

share our own thoughts, feelings and experiences that are usually judged by others.
