This document discusses the increasing complexity of delivering television and online content across multiple screens like TVs, phones and the web. It notes there is currently platform chaos, developer and consumer confusion due to trying to integrate these different screens. The proposed solution is a cloud-based platform called CloudTV that would provide a unified way to deliver leading applications, social features and interactive video to any TV or device, simplifying development and the consumer experience. CloudTV is now in almost 5 million homes and projected to reach 20 million homes by 2011.
