7. Our cloud hosting environment enables our clients to dynamically assign resources where they
are needed. Resources such as Memory, Virtual Processing Units (VPU) or Storage can be
assigned on-demand to any virtual environment as needed.
This dynamic environment also provides on-demand customizations to Cloud Networks, Virtual
Private Network and MPLS integrations. All of these options can be customized by our
engineering team, and are maintained by our network operations center.

SSD and HDD storage, our enterprise storage solution can provide full dedicated SSD
storage or hybrid SSD+HDD solutions as desired.
Our SSD+HDD hybrid storage provides an intelligent cache technology for better input/
output data processing. This maximizes your data access and write speeds throughout
your cloud environment.

13. SSD Cache: Hot and Cold Data
Upon receiving a read request, the system first checks if relevant data is located in the
system memory cache, which stores the most recently accessed information. If the
requested data is absent, read processes on the hard drive disks will be triggered.
This process describes the distinction between ‘Hot’ and ‘Cold’ data.

17. Our cloud environment can ensure that only authorized traffic is sent to and from your
servers with multi-layered protection including advanced firewall traffic shaping,
monitoring, anti-sniff/anti-spoof firewall defenses on all environments and hypervisor
security features.
Our cloud support team is part of an internal Network Operations Center (NOC) with
personnel that are responsible for monitoring all potential security risks and intrusion
attempts on the network. Our Data Centers are located in Canada, and comply with a
number of various regulatory privacy standards such as HIPAA (US), PHIPA Ontario,
eHealth Infoway Canada, PIPEDA, US-EU Safe Harbor, PCI, FERPA and GLB.
Due to several privacy and security regulations, traffic or any form of
communication will never be shared between Canada and the US.
