At the time of application, the candidate
Holds a baccalaureate or equivalent
university degree and
Has a minimum of 4,500 hours of project
management experience within the five
process groups (See Slide 6).
Must have attained the 4500 hours over a
minimum of three (3) years.
Experience gained more than 6 years prior
to the application date - NOT considered.

Candidate does not hold a baccalaureate or
equivalent university degree but Holds a high
school diploma or equivalent secondary school
credential, and
Has a minimum of 7,500 hours of project
management experience within the five process

minimum of five (5) years.
Experience gained more than eight (8) years
prior to the application date - NOT considered.

Initiating Process - Recognizing the need for a
project & committing to do it.
Planning Process - Devising feasible means to
accomplish the objectives.
Executing Process - Coordinating people &
other resources to carry out the plan.
Controlling Process - Ensuring that project
objectives are met by measuring progress &
taking corrective action.
Closing Process - Formalizing acceptance of
project product & bringing it to an orderly end.
