Third graders develop cognitively and socially as they gain more independence. They can focus for 30-45 minutes, show greater responsibility, and explore topics in depth. Socially, they form larger friend groups and understand cause and effect more. They enjoy trying new things, building, arts and crafts, and staying involved with their family.
