advocating for policies that accelerate
the adoption of electric cars and improve
access to active mobility and zero-
emission public transportation.
Call for an urgent transition to zero-
emission trucks across the U.S. to reduce
freight emissions and put a stop to diesel
death zones.
Secure equitable investments in electric
vehicle charging infrastructure that
complement historic levels of federal
funding.

Vehicles produce health-threatening air pollution
Exposure to tailpipe pollution like smog-forming nitrogen oxides
and toxic particles can lead to health problems asthma attacks,
heart attacks and strokes, lung cancer, and premature death.
Four out of ten Americans live in areas with unhealthy levels of
air pollution. Tailpipe pollution also contributes to climate-
warming emissions, increasing the risk of more extreme weather
events, including heat waves, that further degrade air quality.

Federal EV Incentives
$4,000 tax credit to buy a used EV
Drive awareness and engagement to
consumers around new tax credits.
The used EV credit that will make EVs
more accessible for more families.
Americans are three times more likely
to purchase a used vehicle versus a
new vehicle.
Work with community leaders to
ensure that businesses are aware of
the tax credits for commercial
vehicles, EV chargers, and associated
electrical costs.

State EV Incentives
➢ Connecticut: qualifying individuals that
purchase a used EV are eligible to receive a
rebate for $3,000.
➢ Illinois: qualifying individuals that purchase
a used EV are eligible to receive a rebate
for $4,000.
➢ Oregon: Income-qualifying individuals can
apply a rebate of up to $5,000 for a used
EV.
