For a week-long unit, the teacher will instruct students on the different types of chemical bonds - covalent, polar covalent, ionic, and metallic - including their characteristics and examples. Students will take notes from videos and lectures, and use various digital tools and hands-on activities like labs and posters to enhance their learning. On the final day, student groups will present on a bond type and the class will take a posttest to assess understanding.

Abstract
For the entire week, I will be teaching about all the different types of chemical bonds. My
students will be able to know the difference between covalent, polar covalent, ionic, and metallic
bonds. They will also know certain characteristics and give examples of each bond. Throughout
the week, the students will be taking notes from videos and lectures, also, they will be using
Wikispaces, Weebly, Photoshop, Posters, labs, YouTube, Twitter, Web Quests, Facebook,
Robots, Zello, Blogs, and handouts to enhance their learning. On the last day, they will have a
presentation on a certain type of bond that their group picked and they will be taking a posttest to
see how much they learned throughout the week.
