Antony's initial idea is to create a music video for an original song while learning to produce music and improve his filming skills. However, COVID restrictions may make filming groups difficult. His second idea is a documentary on youth culture, fashion, and music tastes through interviews, but again COVID limits group filming. His third idea is a football podcast debating topics with friends, but online calls would be needed due to COVID. Antony provides a mind map and mood board for inspiration, showing diverse cultures and unity across gloomy scenery and simple album art. The mood board will influence the look and feel of showcasing various cultures in his music video.

Ladies & Gentlemen,
My name is Abraham Rayang Ajan, I’m visual
artist specificaly through graphic design.
This is my digital portfolio to show the works
and artworks that I have done.
I have learned that nothing has come easy, and nothing is
perfect but we can put practice to make things better.
3. About Me
Abraham Rayang Ajan is the name and I’m currenty studying Diploma in Graphic
Design in Saito College. I was born in Sibu, Sarawak and
raised in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
I study design, to communicate and to also infuse both music and design
together and I wish to leave a “wow” impact for both
old and new generations.
I believe that I can’t change the world, but I believe that I can spark
someone’s mind to start changing it. It just might take a few person
and years till someone actually starts changing it through trial
and error. It may not be now, It may not be later but I can assure you
that a spark can make a change.
My strength is always in my thoughts, because when I’m alone, I tend
to think a lot from taglines, to phrases, rhymes and much more.
4. About Me
I have participated in ACA Champiionship competition and have
also participated in Nando’s Art Competition. I didn’t win in any
of the competitions but i was happy and satisfied that i was able
to experience and participate in order to know where and what my
weaknesses are.
In order to improve besides joining in competitions
i have been taking alot of freelance work to improve on print ad and
branding. In the music field I’ve been working with an upcoming artist
and so far we’ve done 2 tracks and I’ll be designing his album cover
as his brand.
5. My Passion
My dreams is to be a music producer and also a graphic designer. Like I said
before I’d like to infuse both of them together. Easy to say, I’d like to kill
two birds with one stone. What drives me to succeed is the Challenges and
people from different background, their stories are the things that actually
drives me to succeed in my field of expertise.
While my hobbies are making and listening to music from different genres,
designing, reading articles, watching documentaries especially by VICE and
sketching. My inspirations for music/Audio production would come from Dr Dre,
Metro Boomin & Zaytoven for their styles. While for design, my inspirations
would come from a You Tube logo designer whom is Will Patterson.
6. My Learning Journey
I started out in Saito’s Certificate In Creative Design, and I actually had
no idea what I’m about to face. Like absolutely no idea about graphic
designing. So I took a leap of faith because I chose to and I loved it. I didn’t
even know how to even use Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, so I took
lessons from You Tube and lecturers and most importantly I pushed myself
to practice using both Illustrator and Photoshop, to master my knowledge to
get where I am right now. Now that I’m studying Diploma in Graphic Design I
understand that Graphic designing is not only about designing but to also be able
to understand and communicate visually through the audience and clients..
I went through two semesters and on the third semesters I actually enjoy
doing logos and Corporate Identity. I fell in love of doing logos especially
during the brainstorming and research session. I tend to think like literally
out of the box to get several different ideas just to achieve a Corporate
Identity. In the advertising field, I tend to try to understand what message
the company or my client wants to convey to their target audience. Then I’ll do
research on previous ads that is related to my clients product or services..

his is Jamilah Haraza, born on the 15th April 1980 in Kabul, Afghanistan.T Born in a family of five, she was
the eldest among all, consisting of two brothers and three sisters. Coming from a poor family, that has been
involved in opium cultivation and selling weapons for generations, eduaction was no where to be found or a
chance to be received. She started harvesting opium at the age of ten, helping her two brothers, Hakeem and
Hafeez in the field. They would usually start early in the morning, as early as 7 a.m till noon and later she
would help her mother in the kitchen cooking up the opium which would be sold to big dealers but they
would earn less than 10$ perkilograms. Later, in the evening she would help her father sell weapons in the
black market downtown and they could barely make 50$ a day. They could only make 30$ per day, because
everyone in the area is fully armed and equipped. They were living in fear of terrorism due to civil war caused
by between different views from political parties. “They would only come here to get ammunition not
weapons, because weapons cause alot more than ammunition, and ammunitions are cheaper in bulk.” said
Jamilah’s father. “Ammunitions are readily and easilly available anywhere and everywhere in this country, so
there’s a lot in quantity, that is why it’s cheap.” commented, Abdul-Ahad, Jamilah’s father. One of Jamilah’s
sister, Aadila, died at a very young age of 13. “It all happened when Afia and Aadila was helping Hakeem in the
opium field and the rebel group just took her away from us and gave a head shot right in front of my brother
and sister. It was a terrible and horrendous memory ever. When asked why they’d do that, their reply was so
simple but yet hurtful ‘We did it so that you’d remember not to harvest opium again !!”
Abdul Karim, is a 15 year old freedom fighter. He was born in Herat in a farmer’s family, but his parents soon
died from bullets being sprayed through his farm during the civil war. He was an orphan when he was just 10
years old. Two years later, a freedom fighter took him in as a step child and thought him the teachings on how
to be a freedom fighter. For three years, he has killed the people on both ruling and opposition political party.
He felt guilty, knowing it’s a sin to take someone’s life away but he did it to keep peace in the village he’s living
in. This is because there’s too much death happening in his village every day from bullets being sprayed by
both political parties. “ I’ve always wanted to attend school, but there was no chance because of this war !! I
know that we are the future cause, we young generation might be able to change and improve the country, but
both parties does not want to listen, so there’s nothing that can be done, but to oppose both of them.” said
Karim. Till now, Abdul Karim has been taking away innocent lives with feeling guilty. All he ever wanted was
a proper education from school but, he has no chance at all.

9. Success Story
My success in designing comes in when I actually felt proud of my own work. Especially a booklet I made in
Typography 1. Another success I would consider is when I participated in the ACA Championship competition.
I didn’t win anything but I was proud because I had the courage to join the competition. Another is that, I see
lots of friends and other clients they actually like my artwork and they also look forward to work with
me again.
10. Success Story
My success in the music field would be from my high school friend as he’s
the one that I’m working with right now to produce his mixtape. He saw the
potential in me and he wants to use my help. My inspiration would come from
the producers in this current era such as TM88, Metro Boomin and Zaytoven
