3. Key Qualifications: I am Abdourahman Miyir, actually in charge of Systems administration of
Container Terminal (Port of Djibouti), my challenge is in one hand to secure the Terminal Operating
System and at the other hand to guaranty acceptable income level. Having more than 10 years
experiences in Port IT, I also led more than 4
projects (INSTALLATION &
CONFIGURATION) of TOS in Djibouti Port.
Awarded by the best employee of the year 2012, I
spent one year from 2005-2006 in Djibouti
Customs as Declaration Agent Clerk, verification
of the Accuracy of information in the Declarations
of customers. This gave me an experience in all
custom, port and security procedures.
I followed a tanning in Dubai Customs institute
with the supervision of WCO at 2004, worked 2
month in Port Rashid in Customs Department
(Inspection and OPS).
I have a good knowledge in Djibouti Port Tariffs because I participate an update project of our tariffs
in 2009.

Systems (Navis Cargotec) have as policy to compel all their customers
to upgrade the TOS every one and half year, I lead this upgrade with
a minimum budget. The team has achieved successfully the upgrade.
We realized USD 168.000 cost reduction, this amount matches the
quotation sent by the vendor the Navis consultants led the project.

month of hard work.
