Objective:
A challenging opportunity in the field of Digital Design , embedded systems to build upon and utilize my academic background, besides improving communication and leadership skills.

Education:
- 2008-2013: Electronics and Communication dept., faculty of engineering, Cairo University.
- Elective Modules: Analog & Digital VLSI, and Industrial Electronics.
- Graduation project: 64-bit IEEE standard Modal Interval binary Floating point Adder/Subtractor with Decorations using Verilog.
 The design targeted Stratix III FPGA family, and synthesis was done using Altera Quartus-II, It also targeted 65nm ASIC technology, and synthesis was done using Design Compiler from Synopses.
 Noteworthy this is the 2nd hardware implementation of this unit and the first implementation ever with the "Decorations" feature complying with the draft standard IEEE-P1788.
 This progress was presented at SCAN conference, university of Würzburg, Germany in September 2014, and will be published in Springer’s LNCS.
 Winner of the 1st place in “Tarek Gamal El Din” annual competition for graduation projects in EECE dept., Cairo University.
 Supervisor: Prof. DR/ Hossam A.H. Fahmy
 Grade: Excellent.
- Cumulative grade: Very good (79%)

 Data acquisition system using flash memory and PIC microcontroller
 MCQ grading system using PIC microcontroller, serial interface of the computer, and a Java program
Technical skills and knowledge:
- Maintaining very good knowledge for Digital, Analog, and MEMS design concepts, layouts, and problems.
- Very good command of using Cadence, Modelsim, Quartus, Pspice, Dip trace, ARES, L-Edit, and Proteus.
- Very good experience in FPGA/ASIC design flow, and Design Compiler from synopses.
- Experienced in Verilog, and VHDL RTL design, simulation, synthesis, analysis, low power design.
- Good knowledge of embedded C-programming, Microcontroller architecture, and real time design.
- Maintaining good knowledge of Digital communication systems and its implementation using Matlab.
- Very good experience in Object-oriented programming, C++, TCL scripting, Perl, and Java.
- Computer Architecture, Data structures, Linux OS.
- Implementation of test benches using simulators.
Work Experience:
 Edge Technology (June 2014 – July 2014): the company works on a series of products that includes lightening control systems, water flow meter, etc.
These systems were implemented using Atmel microcontroller, GPRS modules for sending collected data form the nodes controlled by the system, Ts-7260 Arm board for handling data received from GPRS module and sending some configurations to the nodes, web application for controlling the node, changing node configurations, and monitoring system readings.
My role was to provide support for the Ts-7260 board, maintenance of implemented systems, and development of new systems based on the old ones.
Internship Experience:
 PCB Egypt factory: Full training on how PCB’s are made and what is the new technologies (July 2010).
 BTC networks: Telephone and networks systems, practical training on bank’s and hotel’s systems (July 2011).
