3.  The purpose of the ABC shall be political in its agenda in
uniting Afrikan Black students, understanding our shared and
diverse experiences, in order to produce change within and
outside of educational, social, political, cultural, and economic
institutions to achieve equality and advocate for the civil and
human rights to safety, self-determination, and freedom of all
peoples in the Afrikan Diaspora, recognizing we are our own
freedom fighters.

4. It is the mission of the ABC to create and cultivate an inclusive
system of support grounded in political activism. ABC serves to
unite and educate our community, providing an intellectually
challenging atmosphere rooted in cultural knowledge, expression,
appreciation, and advocacy. ABC serves as a means of retention
for Afrikan Black students, inspiring academic and community
development through outreach within and outside of our
immediate campus community.
