- 9. It’s cold outside. We eat once a day. My cloths are rags. My hands are cracked I can no longer stand straight.
- 10. The sirens don’t permit us to sleep. Everyday death torments us in many forms. Disease is everywhere. Everyone is sick. There is no sanitation.
- 11. We are imprisoned for crimes we don’t understand. We are enslaved by our fellow countrymen.
- 12. I don’t know where my family is. They know not of my whereabouts. There is no contact with the outside.
- 15. Everyday could be my last. Death is common place. No one will care. And I will just be shoveled in with the others.
