He morally pays the consequence when he is struck by a car. • As part of several flashbacks his life is shown, portraying naivety, poverty, as well as drug related crime and violence. • However in the end wakes up in trauma and searches for his mum in his empty flat. His mum enters and is surprised when he tells her how much he loves her, switches on the TV and sits down with her. Footage is then shown of a driver drinking excessively and speeding in a news report which concludes as the report says ‘Luckily no one was hurt’.
