Then Click Get Stated

check your mail.

You should find an email like

basic settings in your
“new” MailChimp account.

And you are taken to your
Overview page

Scroll Down

To the Audience Section

Click Create A List
(if you don’t have subscribers )

Scroll down for some more

Scroll down and select the
notifications setting

Try Daily Summary

Then click Save

You are taken to the Manage
Contacts Page

Select create a signup form

As we have no contacts
yet we create a Sign Up
form to receive the email
information of our
customers.

Select General Forms

Select a form here

In this case I select Opt-In
confirmation email

These information were
pre-filled

And you can see the “auto”
reply message

You can edit the words by
clicking here.

Place your text here

And then click Save & Close

Here is what a standard

signup form using Thrive Leads

Yes, we will use Thrive
Leads to make a more
“eye-catching”
Sign-Up form.

Now we take a little turn
to set up our API Keys.

We will need the API key
so that we can connect
our Thrive Leads to
MailChimp.

Click Here

Select Account

Select Extras

Then select API keys

To this section

Select Create A Key

Copy this Key

Now that we have our
MailChimp API key, it’s
time to go to our
WordPress website
dashboard.

Select Thrive Dashboard

Then select Thrive Leads

To API Connections

Click Manage Connections

Click Add new Connection

Click here to select the App

Select MailChimp

Now go to MailChimp
Accounts…

And copy the API Key

Paste it here

Then click Connect

Connection Ready!

Let us go back to Thrive Leads

Scrolling Down gives you…

For our purpose choose
Lead Groups

Type a Lead group name

And click on Add Lead Group

Click on Add New Type of

Select the design you like

Click Create a new Connection

Choose the connection type

For this sample we are using
the API

Click Go to the next step

Choose MailChimp

Choose Single Opt in

And then click on Save

Slide Yes to require the name
of the subscriber

Tick the Required Field box

Email of course is Added
Automatically

Define the Action After Sign Up
below

We will choose
Reload Current Page

And then click Save

Now Name and Email are
indicated in the form

To change the CTA message
click here

Type your Call to Action

Your CTA is now shown

You can also change the
background color…

Click Save Changes

And then click Preview

This page is shown

Enter and name and email
address

Click on the CTA button

To see if the Thrive Leads
Opt in form works, let us
go back our MailChimp
account

Go to Lists

Look for the email added!

Now let us set up how and
where the Opt In form will
be shown in your website.

Go to Thrive Leads

Select the settings icon

Under basic settings select
where you want to show…

Your Opt In Form

Select YES if you want to
display on Desktop or Mobile

You’ve really done it! Time
to do some A/B testing.

A/B testing allows you to
monitor which Opt In
design generates the
“Clicks”
(Subscription)

Select the Copy icon

A Copy of your Opt In form is
generated

Change the name of the copied
form

Select the Edit Icon

The editing process is of
course the same as the
first one, make some
distinct changes.

Here I select a different image

The new image is now shown

Don’t forget to save the
changes

Now click on start A/B Test

Create a name for this test

Then click on Automatic Winner
Settings

Tick on Enabled

Define the parameters

When done click on Start Test

The daily result will be shown
here

You can wait for the set
duration..

Or click here to stop the test

Choose your winner here

A/B test is stopped
