How to get RPA initiative work beyond proof of concept?Abhinav Singhal
Global RPA market grew by 63% in 2018 and is expected to
reach USD 1.3 billion in 2019. Telecom and IT sector
being the biggest adopter, followed by the banking,
financial services, and insurance industries, and retail
and consumer goods.
However, as companies try to scale beyond the
proof of concept the momentum starts decreasing.
Installing hundreds of bots takes a lot longer and is
more complex than the initial pilot. It introduces an
additional architecture layer into the system, requiring
more governance, security, and oversight by the IT
organization, already burdened with maintaining legacy
systems. The economic outcomes often aren’t as rosy as
originally projected. While it may be possible to automate
30 percent of tasks for the majority of occupations, that
doesn’t neatly translate into a 30 percent cost reduction.
People do many different things, and bots may only
address some of them. Unless the process and the organization are also aligned true efficiencies don’t kick in. Also, asking
operators to program bots that could take their jobs can understandably create high resistance at the front line.
As a result, several programs get put on hold beyond the pilot stage. So, what is the recipe for a successful rollout and
implementation?
Automation can help organisations to optimise their resources while running leaner, more effective business processes.

Robotic process automation
and intelligent character
recognition: Smart data capture
In this era of technology disruption, enterprises are under immense pressure to digitise operations, and they are gearing up for
a future where human work can be augmented by software robots. Digitisation and automation continue to be the key business
drivers across various sectors and industries globally, including government organisations, which have now jumped onto the
automation bandwagon.
Enterprises are looking to build a digital workforce as part of their automation strategy by combining elements of robotic
process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), optical/intelligent character recognition (OCR/ICR) and analytics to
automate their business processes. While RPA technologies are capable of taking on low-value activities in a quick and efficient
manner, the next phase is leveraging such automation technologies to deliver intelligent process automation (IPA).
OCR is a technology that primarily aims to analyse an image,
detect based on patterns if the image contains text, and
extract that text into a machine readable format. This helps
convert scanned documents into a digitally editable format
while comparing the images of the available characters to the
ones stored on its database for traditional OCR engines. The
newer versions of OCR use machine learning (ML) techniques
to recreate the characters and render the best possible match
to the user.
Based on the image type and type of data that needs to
be extracted, these character recognition engines use the
options below to recognise text.
ICR/OCR:
ICR helps in converting handwritten text characters into a
machine-readable format. The core difference between OCR
and ICR is that in the case of OCR, its capability is restricted
to printed data that looks the same given the standardisation
of multiple fonts. However, in the case of ICR, it is intelligent
enough to decipher data from non-standard documents,
which contain handwritten texts with varied formats.

Fiber optic cables have several applications in the medical field including endoscopy, dentistry, and surgery. Some key advantages of fiber optics for medical use are their small size, immunity to electromagnetic interference, greater sensitivity, and geometric versatility. Fiber optic sensors can be used to remotely measure blood pressure, for example in intravascular devices. Endoscopy uses fiber optic bundles to transmit light and capture images from inside the body. Dentistry uses fiber optics to illuminate teeth and measure color for matching repairs. Fiber optic probes are also used in surgical colorimetry applications.

3. The SIM contains components like a CPU, ROM, RAM and EEPROM that allow it to perform functions like access control, customization, service personalization and more.
Superstitions are prevalent throughout India and vary widely between regions. They stem from a lack of education and provide a sense of control, but can also harm individuals and society. Some common Indian superstitions include not cutting nails at night, believing that crow excrement brings good luck, and hanging lemons and chilies to ward off evil. Widespread superstitions are fueled by mass illiteracy and a desire to manage unknowns, but ultimately undermine productivity and rational thinking.

Development of solar tracking system using imc pid controllerEkansh Agarwal
Development of Solar Tracking System Using IMC-PID Controller
In the past, solar cells are hooked with fixed elevating angles, and it does not track the sun. Therefore the efficiency of the power generation is low. The stability and improved speed of response can only be achieved with appropriate controller to take care of external disturbances and design uncertainty associated with a conventional controller. The IMC controller would be used to allow good tracking ability and good load disturbance rejection. Modeling of a dual axis solar tracker. An IMC-PID controller was developed for a dual axis solar tracker.

A study on Robotic Process Automation in network management process and its application in business communication
1. A study on RPA implementation in network
management process and its applications in
business communication
Ekansh Agarwal (J001)
Manan Kapoor (J024)
2. Introduction
◆ Robotic Process Automation is a form of business process automation technology
that works automated to the end user. Robotic Process Automation itself can do what
humans / employees previously did to the end user/user by verifying user data,
payments to suppliers, interaction with users, and data storage for business people
with other business people who have cooperated effectively. In this paper we have
highlighted the use of RPA in different business scenarios and also highlighted the
methods suggested by the authors to ease the problem efficiently. This paper also
intends to give a study on RPA and its process in management and gives a
conclusion onto this approach of business solution.

3. In growing tourism business in Indonesia -:
◆ The development of tourism business in Indonesia is currently growing, so it must
demand companies in the speed and accuracy of processing reservations until data
storage. In addition, business people often work with business people to exchange
data. Robotic Process Automation is a form of business process automation technology
that works automated to the end user. Around 59% of tourists visit Indonesia for vacation
purposes, while 38% for business purposes.
◆ Researchers with experience who work as RPA users and are directly involved in seeing
their processes in the tourism/reservation business, Robotic Process Automation in this
research is for the business operation system process in forming tickets booked by the
end user/user until the ticket that has been booked successfully issued. The stability of
the internet/network can also be one of the benchmarks so that the RPA system runs
smoothly, in accordance with what business people expect. Because, if this RPA system
is used by users who do not cooperate with business people, it is feared that there will be
fraud reservations. Inaccurate data is a problem in running the business, so that available
by RPA is more accurate due to validation in the data.
3
4. Utilization of RPA technology
◆ The process of ticketing reservations travel agent companies are currently
inseparable in order to speed and accuracy the ticketing process. Robotic
Process Automation increases the competitiveness of travel companies. The
success factor of RPA adoption or maintenance can be said by human ideas
such as employees of travel companies, internet networks, project
management and also implementation partners of RPA. In 2030 tourism in
Indonesia has increased because many travel companies have used RPA and
smart tourists to facilitate tourists coming to Indonesia.
◆ In 2050, researchers analyze RPA in ticket issuance, RPA no longer uses the
internet or can be accessed offline so that companies can minimize spending
in the budget of internet use.

6. Software Defined Network (SDN)
◆ In this paper, we use Analytic Hierarchy Process to analysis the characteristics of network
traffic, then based on K-shortest path algorithm, a novel Resource Preference Aware
Routing Algorithm, simplified as RPA-RA, and is proposed. RPA-RA selects the most
proper path for a flow from k shortest paths by considering the resource preference of the
flows. We introduce AHP to evaluate and carry out path selection for a routing
request. The objective is to choose an optimal path from the k candidate paths
corresponding to the service type ϑ of the routing request, ϑ is determined by the
resource preference of the routing request.
◆ Next is the process of path evaluation between source nodes and destination node d. We
define a factor, , to indicate the preference degree of a flow to a path, the bigger is, and
the more likely the path will be chosen. In fact, a path that has the biggest is chosen as
the routing path.

7. Chatbot Application
◆ Based on the research result, future research can be suggested to expand the works occurring inside and outside the
company to a single RPA environment by additionally linking the work system related to expense management. These
installed environments are API for system, RFC , Database Interface Easy communication with back-end systems such
as automation environment There are many advantages to implementing However, the subject of this study Stem is a
cloud SaaS solution it's sean The license is leased from the vendor and the vendor In a way that manages all
services , the subject of management As a vendor, there are many restrictions on backend linkage. Therefore, it is
necessary to eliminate the use of API, RFC, DB Interface, etc. RPA for SaaS Cloud with pure screen control Travel &
Expense Management Sol Lusion is for travel expenses, purchase expenses, and entertainment expenses incurred
between business activities. The flat-rate settlement method uses costs According to the classification for the schedule
regardless of the actual cost of use It is a method to settle costs, and the actual cost settlement method is used It is a
method of calculating the cost equal to the cost.
◆ Sylvie In this study, cloud expense management solution Chat to identify these problems and solve them new system
to demonstrate application of bot and RPA technology has been developed. The developed system is evaluated by
experts and The average satisfaction rate was 80.3%, especially in terms of ease The highest satisfaction rate was
94%. In future research, ERP related to expense management work system or CRM system and Artificial intelligence
while expanding and linking to the same work system from automation of work to intelligence of work by adding
technology, We want to expand and improve.

8. In Financial Sector
◆ This chapter summarises the success factors for an RPA
implementation that have been worked out so far and explains them
in a coherent and detailed manner. In addition, success factors that
have not yet been dealt with in detail, such as the consideration of
regulatory framework conditions, are also supplemented. The latter
are particularly important in the financial sector, and increasingly also
for the large area of information technologies. It is shown how the
obstacles and challenges repeatedly mentioned in practice can be
overcome by taking the success factors into account.
8
9. Human Resource
◆ If these systems change, software robots often «break» and stop working. Lacking
transparency about the RPA implementation strategy can lead to fear and concerns about
employment in the human workforce. The literature on the experiences and effects of
RPA on employees shows paradoxical results. On the one hand, RPA reduces repetitive
and mundane tasks and allows employees to take on more complex tasks that require
decision-making and human judgment, which may have a positive effect on job
satisfaction .
◆ The results show that RPA implementation led to time savings that are made through the
automation of mundane and repetitive tasks that can now be utilised by workers to take
on more challenging tasks such as data analysis. Additionally, the reduction of employees
does not only intensify the competition among employees but also the competition among
employees and robots .
