A Study of customer satisfaction towards
Uber cabs with special reference in
Coimbatore city
INTRODUCTION
 Uber Technologies Inc. (Uber) is a peer-to-peer ridesharing,
taxi cab, food
 Delivery, bicycle-sharing, and transportation network company
(TNC) headquartered in San Francisco, California, with operations
in 785 metropolitan areas worldwide.
 Its platforms can be accessed via its websites and mobile apps.
 The name “Uber” is a reference to the common (and somewhat
colloquial) word uber, meaning “topmost” or “super”, and having its
origins in the German word über, cognate with over, meaning
“above” Uber is estimated to have 100 million worldwide users and
a 69% market share in the United States
 Uber is a convenient, inexpensive and safe taxi service. Hire a
private driver to pick you up & take you to your destination with the
tap of a button on any smartphone device
OBJECTIVE

 To know the customer satisfaction about uber cabs.
 To discuss about the determinants of the uber cabs
riding.
 To know the level of convenience and comfort with
uber cabs services.
 To understand their opinion about tariff system and
promptness of uber cab service.
 To ascertain the customer view towards the driver
behavior and custody
SCOPE OF STUDY
 The scope of project work is to get the opinions from
respondents on the issues mentioned earlier.
 It is limited to the Coimbatore city.
 The scope of the study is to know about the factors
influencing the customers to prefer the uber cabs
service and satisfaction level of the respondents
towards uber cab services
LIMITATION OF STUDY
 The study is limited to 100 respondents.
 Findings of the study are purely depends on the
responses provided by the respondents.
 The study was focused only in the Coimbatore city

REVIEW OF LITERATURE
 Ashish avinash khade(2018) _ Thus, 1992 define relationship
marketing as-an integrated effort to identify, maintain and build up
to Network with the individual customers and to intensity and
continuously strengthen the Network in mutual benefit of both side
through interactive and individually and value added contracts over
a long period of time. Customer so that company better utilize its
resources on those customer it can maintain it serve better and
create mutual value.
 S. M. Yamuna, (2019) _In the current Scenario he best and the
way to travel to the bus stand, Railways stations and the airports
and to the other places and the by call taxi. There is the as
Coimbatore in the 40 and 50 call taxi and the other places and
maintain available and maintain the suburbs and the mostly 4 hours
within the day. And the people and maintain the confident way to
travel and influencing and the choice maintain the problem faced by
people satisfaction and the taxi and the problem and people using
call taxi services.

To determine the percentage , we
have to divide the value by the total value and them
multiply the resultant by 100.
 CHI’SQUARE:
Take the difference between a pair of
observed(O) and expected values (E),square the
difference , and divide that squared difference by the
expected value.
 RANK:
The rank function uses the following
arguments : number(required arguments)-this is value
for which we need to find the rank . ref (required
arguments)-can be a list of , or an array of , or
reference to , numbers.

  • 2. INTRODUCTION  Uber Technologies Inc. (Uber) is a peer-to-peer ridesharing, taxi cab, food  Delivery, bicycle-sharing, and transportation network company (TNC) headquartered in San Francisco, California, with operations in 785 metropolitan areas worldwide.  Its platforms can be accessed via its websites and mobile apps.  The name “Uber” is a reference to the common (and somewhat colloquial) word uber, meaning “topmost” or “super”, and having its origins in the German word über, cognate with over, meaning “above” Uber is estimated to have 100 million worldwide users and a 69% market share in the United States  Uber is a convenient, inexpensive and safe taxi service.   • 3. OBJECTIVE   To know the customer satisfaction about uber cabs.  To discuss about the determinants of the uber cabs riding.  To know the level of convenience and comfort with uber cabs services.  To understand their opinion about tariff system and promptness of uber cab service.  To ascertain the customer view towards the driver behavior and custody
  • 4. SCOPE OF STUDY  The scope of project work is to get the opinions from respondents on the issues mentioned earlier.  It is limited to the Coimbatore city.  The scope of the study is to know about the factors influencing the customers to prefer the uber cabs service and satisfaction level of the respondents towards uber cab services
  • 5. LIMITATION OF STUDY  The study is limited to 100 respondents.  Findings of the study are purely depends on the responses provided by the respondents.  The study was focused only in the Coimbatore city 
  • 6. REVIEW OF LITERATURE  Ashish avinash khade(2018) _ Thus, 1992 define relationship marketing as-an integrated effort to identify, maintain and build up to Network with the individual customers and to intensity and continuously strengthen the Network in mutual benefit of both side through interactive and individually and value added contracts over a long period of time. Customer so that company better utilize its resources on those customer it can maintain it serve better and create mutual value.  S. M. Yamuna, (2019) _In the current Scenario he best and the way to travel to the bus stand, Railways stations and the airports and to the other places and the by call taxi. There is the as Coimbatore in the 40 and 50 call taxi and the other places and maintain available and maintain the suburbs and the mostly 4 hours within the day. And the people and maintain the confident way to travel and influencing and the choice maintain the problem faced by people satisfaction and the taxi and the problem and people using call taxi services.

EXPLANATION OF TOOLS  SIMPLE PERCENTAGE: To determine the percentage , we have to divide the value by the total value and them multiply the resultant by 100.  CHI’SQUARE: Take the difference between a pair of observed(O) and expected values (E),square the difference , and divide that squared difference by the expected value.
