3. We have here about 1700 plots, each about 2500 square feet of
open rooftops facing the sky. About 7 kilowatts of panels could be
set up or make use of the existing panels on the roofs to make a
microgrid of energy banks of NEM or net electric metering. This
can minimise the load shedding as a strategis national outlooks,
as well as bringing revenue to the plot/apartment owners minimum
7*8*8= (7 KW, 8 hours, at 8 taka ) 448 taka per day, 13000 taka
per month for each house, about 2 crore taka collecting revenue
for the society, which the society can demand from DESCO each
month, using net metering agreement. It will reduce load shedding,
be used as a model for the country’s all housing societies, mainly
DOHS’s and reduce CO emissions in the country earning carbon
credits as well.
