Hi Young Entrepreneurs!!

Hi Job Seekers!!
How would you like me to address you?
Confused ??????
Well, then you need to know this first.
 According to the latest ILO statistics there are currently 73 million youth
unemployed, accounting for more than 50% youth unemployment in many
countries.
 Across the world, there are currently 1.8 billion young people, of which two thirds
of those are underemployed.
 According to Ministry of Labour & Employment, In India the unemployment rate
is 5.2% (of Total Population) and youth unemployment is 18% (of Youth Population)
 There are currently 10.3 million young people in India looking for employment.
 Young entrepreneurs around the globe urge G20 leaders to take action
against youth unemployment.
 Their objective is to formulate strategies to reduce unemployment below
10% by 2030, and install youth entrepreneurship as a solution to
unemployment in the post 2015 United Nations Millennium Development
Goals.
Youth Entrepreneurship as
a solution….
 When asked about their main frustrations, in a survey conducted by
Ernst & Young with 1000 young entrepreneurs across G20
countries-
 73% say access to funding remains difficult in their countries.
 51% of entrepreneurs would also like to see government programs
that provide education, funding and raised profiles, which they
believe could have a big impact.
Challenges to Youth
Entrepreneurship:
In the G20 YEA (Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance) Summit 18-22 July, 2014 in Australia,

development of new innovative forms of financing.
 Promote close cooperation between the business and education sector
 Install experiential entrepreneurship education programs in all layers of the
education system
 Support the United Nations and ensure there is a major goal in the UN post 2015
development agenda on youth employment and entrepreneurship, especially young
women.
