The Rural Development Institute (RDI) works to promote the welfare of adolescents in rural areas through various programs. These programs include engaging media to disseminate information, health camps, nutritional counseling, immunizations, promoting life skills development, sensitizing stakeholders, empowering peer educators, and adolescent resource centers. RDI has reached over 2,000 adolescents, 1,331 anganwadi workers, 1,600 peer educators, 40 master trainers, and 90 grassroots facilitators. They have also created training kits called Yuvansh and Udaan focused on health, nutrition, and life skills for adolescents aged 11-19 to be used by NGOs and service providers.
