• Offer a scalable platform covering the overall lifecycle,
ranging from the digital twins setup, modernization actions
to diagnose and predict the operation of physical assets, to
the refurbishment and remanufacturing activities towards
end of life

Previous results
• The identified standard(s)
represent no barrier to the
work in the project.
• Exploitation of results
by developing a
CEN-CENELEC Workshop Agreement (CWA).
As an added value, demonstrating which standards are applied in the project,
respectively on which standards the solutions developed by Level-Up are based,
enhances the market uptake of these solutions. This is because standards are
recognized, trusted and used by the market and products or services complying with
standards create customer gains and alleviate customer pains.

6. CEN-CENELEC Workshop on
"Circularity Protocols for extending the useful
Life of Large Industrial Equipment"

• CWA was initialized according to the “Grand Agreement 869991”.
• Scope: The planned Workshop specifies a set of protocols to
ensure a standardised and formalised selection of processes for
Modernising, Refurbishing, Repair, Remanufacturing, and
Upgrading of Large Industrial Equipment.
• An overlap between the scope of CEN/CENELEC/TCs and the
scope of the CWA has not yet been finally clarified (Clarification
by a decision of CEN/CENELEC till 2022-08-02)
• Planned development time: 15 months
