Penguins spend their days searching for food in the ocean, caring for their young, and protecting their colonies from predators. They wake at dawn and swim together in large groups to find schools of fish and krill. After feeding, they return to land by nightfall to rest, preen their feathers, and look after any eggs or chicks. Life in the Antarctic is challenging but penguins have adapted unique behaviors to survive in their harsh environment.
