This document discusses a proposed class-based adaptive quality of service (QoS) control scheme implemented on software-defined networking (SDN) architecture for VoIP, video streaming, and file transfer traffic. The effectiveness of the scheme was validated through simulation using Mininet and Ryu Controller, showing significant improvements in the number of high-priority traffic flows admitted with QoS satisfaction compared to existing methods. Detailed procedures for simulation setup and performance metrics evaluation are provided, indicating a superior performance of the proposed scheme in managing network resources.
