My nine frame analysis

1. 9 frame analysis: Cage The Elephant -Aberdeen
1) This frame shows the dragon holding a
human that he has made. The video begins
by showing the dragon alone, so this frame
shows that the dinosaur is feeling lonely and
wants to be friends with the humans.
2) This next frame shows the dragon holding a
car in the city, waving at the people in the car
because he wants to be friends with the humans
as he is always alone. The humans however are
very scared of the giant dragon, so one human
jumps out of the car the dragon is holding
probably because he thinks the dragon will eat
him.
3) Frame three shows the dragon upset sitting
on his couch because the humans think the
dragon is dangerous. When really the dragon
just wants to be friends with them.
4) After scaring the humans, the dragon
makes a present for them of him and a
human holding hand and showing that they
are friends with “FRIENDS” written on the
bottom.

2. 5)When the dragon returns to the city to give the
humans the apology present, they shine bright lights
on the dragon, causing him to drop the present on
the floor.
6)When the present hits the floor, rather
than the human and dragon hugging it
appears as if the dragon is eating the
human, and rather than saying “friends”,
the present now says “die”. Because of
this the humans begin shooting at the
dragon in anger.
7)Blinded by the bright lights and being shot at,
the dragon goes to step forward but accidently
kicks the human, killing him. Upset, the dragon
returns to his hideout in the middle of the ocean.
For the humans this was the last straw. The
humans send out the military to rid of the dragon
once and for all.
8)The humans then kill the dragon by shooting
it in the head with a launcher. The medium
close up shows the head exploding the launcher
impacts it.
9)The military then see the miniature
models the dragon, has made of the
humans and him being friends. This then
makes the humans realise the huge
mistake they had made killing the
dragon. This even makes the tough
military officer drop his cigar out of his
mouth
