2. Story Outline
• The opening sequence beings with the a medium shot of
the television. Soon after the protagonist changes the
channel the television stops working, so the character
shouts his mother for help, but she does not answer. After
getting no answer he goes upstairs to find her, searching
every roo. But she is nowhere to be seen. He even unlocks
the bathroom door, yet the door is locked from the inside,
empty. As if she had disappeared. He then tries phoning
her mobile, which he hears ring, from the bathroom bin.
Confused he reaches into the bin to retrieve it, only to find
it reads “Shes gone”. Worried and angry he ventures out of
the house to look for her in his car……….but he didn’t check
the back seats.

4. Overview
• The protagonist (Josh) is extremely confused
about the disappearance of his mother, so
much so that he doesn’t think twice about
going straight out to look for her, travelling at
high speeds. What comes next he doesn’t
expect. It leaves the audience to wonder
weather the individual in the back seat is
linked to the disappearance of his mother.
