ModuleTitle#4: Procurement (Jan’07 to Oct’08)
Description
Procurement/Purchase module addresses the entire procurement process from request to
the fulfillment. The entire process is divided in to three sub-processes namely Pre-procurement,
Procurement Execution and Post-procurement.
In the Pre Procurement process the purchase department receives Material request from any
user department and the approved request are further processed for material processing from
the vendors. When a request is received the purchase department will send the RFQ to the
vendors and in turn it receives Quotation from vendors and after receiving quotation evaluation
is done. Finally, the post-procurement process that focuses on goods receipt, other issues such
