project. The Ingersoll-Rand Financial Services (IRFS) platform will enable sales
representatives to include finance options as an integral component of the Equipment
sales cycle. Ingersoll-Rand has tie-ups with several finance companies, like City capital,
who finance for equipments. The platform will assist the sales representative to conduct a
guided customer interview that results in customized finance solutions tailored to the
customer's individual needs and forward the credit application to the financier and get it
financed with minimal time. It reduces the sales cycle of equipments from 20 days to 2
days.
