This document describes the orthodontic and surgical management of Zimmerman-Laband Syndrome. Zimmerman-Laband Syndrome is a rare genetic condition characterized by abnormalities of the nose and ears, nail and digit abnormalities, gingival fibromatosis, delayed dental eruption, skeletal anterior open bite, enlarged palatal rugae, and learning difficulties. The treatment plan involved upper and lower fixed appliances, 6mm posterior maxillary impaction with mandibular autorotation, finishing orthodontics, and retention with upper and lower retainers. Pre-treatment, post-operative, post-surgical, and debond photographs and radiographs are presented to document the treatment and outcomes.
