Prayer Cards
A prayer card with the images of Jesus as our Good Shepherd and the words of
St. Teresa of Avila prayer, “Christ has no Body”, is now available at the back
and side door of our Church. Please take a copy home and use the prayer as we
seek Gods hep in our life and journey.
Parish Envelopes
We are currently working on our Parish Envelopes for the coming year which
begins in November. If you have moved into the area or are not registeredin the
Parish. Please contact the Parish Office this week. This year we are looking at
distribution envelopes only to those who use them during the year. This is
because of the problem of distribution to the vast area in Carraroe and the cost
involved in printing.
Walk of Life
The Walk of Life takes place on Sunday 15th September beginning at St. Nathy’s
Cemetery, Collooney, Co. Sligoin memory of Tony Scanlon, Ballymote. This walk is
to promote life and stop suicide.
St. Michael’s Family Life Centre

Bereaved RIP
We remember in our prayers the soul of Michelle Beck, nee Walsh, formally
Carrowkeel who died in Sydney, Australia, daughter of Pat and Bridie Walsh,
Carrowkeel. Funeral takes place in Sydney on Monday. May she restin peace.
Tobernalt Hoy Well
The Lourdes grotto at the Holy Well has been repainted over the Summer
period along with the various signs at the Holy Well. Also a general tidy up of
the grounds has taken place. Please keep the grounds tidy and clean during
your visit and remember this soil is sacred.

Congratulation to Edward and Karen Cadman, Upper Heather View, on
the Baptism of Brooke Noleen. Every Good wish in the future.
Carraroe Community Centre
Most groups are returning to the Community Centre after the Summer
break. We would remind all users of the Centre that you need to stick to the
time allocated to your group. Most mornings/ afternoons and some evening
are available for rent this year. Please contact the Parish Office for future
information.

Irish Wheelchair Association’s Coastal Camino Walk is suitable for people of all age

CADRA has booked the GARDA / Sligo County Council marking machine for
Carraroe on Saturday 12th October. If you do not know your Eircode please arrange
to establish it as you will require it for the purpose of having your property marked.
