Festival of Faith – Art Competition
Congratulation to the boys and girls, from our school who were
awarded 9 out of the 14 medals in the recent art competition for the
Festival of Faith.
The perpetual trophy was always awarded to the school.
The Dunally Day Care Centre: would like to invite family, friends

Garden of Resurrection – Light a Candle in Prayer
The Easter Garden of Resurrection is a place of prayer and
reflection. It invites us to reflect on the message of Easter and to
see the cross as the power and source of the Resurrection. This
week we pray for the needs of our country and for all who are
taking or preparing for examinations.
Alzheimer Cafe : the Glasshouse Hotel, Friday 13th June 2014 from
11am to 13:00pm in the View Bar. Alzheimer Cafe mornings are free
and anyone affected by Dementia are welcome to attend. This month,
Ann Hickey, Solicitor, will give an information session on legal matters
to be considered when a diagnosis of Dementia is made. For more

Parish History Book and 50th
Anniversary of our School
We are continuing to work on the new history book of our Parish. This
book will reflect the wide history of our community, Church, School,
G.A.A., Holy Well and beyond. If you have old photographs from
parish or school events, please contact the Parish office. All
photographs will be returned. Also, historical stories, folklore, or
reflections on the parish and wider community in the past would be
very helpful.
Photographs of the school events are also required for the 50th
anniversary celebrations.
Divine Mercy
Novena to the Divine Mercy takes place every Friday in Carraroe
Church beginning at 3:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
Baptism Course
Baptism course for all who are preparing for Baptism takes place on
the third Thursday of each month in the Family Life Centre, Church
Hill, Sligo. Contact the parish for further information.

The Elphin Diocese is now accepting enquires from prospective
men who may wish to join Diocesan Priesthood in our Diocese.

Shine a light by wearing your Sunflower for Hospice.
Sunflower Days in aid of North West Hospice take place from 05th
- 07th
June this year. Sunflower pins and Sunflower plants will be available to
buy from North West Hospice volunteers all over the North West this
weekend and your support would be greatly appreciated. If you could
spare a couple of hours to help out during Sunflower Days, please

about nursing opportunities in Australia. We will be visiting Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Belfast
from June 9th – 12th providing information to Nurses, Midwives and Doctors. Our informal
‘meet and greet’ information session will cover work opportunities and the registration process
over a cup of tea
