This document provides instructions for students to write two news articles between 80-100 words each on assigned topics. They will then share their news articles, select four to include, conduct three-question interviews on mobile phones to support their news, and edit the news articles into a video presentation using VidTrim. The presentation should include an introduction, headlines displayed on video, relevant videos or pictures if possible. Students must decide who will present each part of the news, weather, interviews, and have correspondents. Headlines should be short and catchy.

1. Each person has to write two pieces of news (80-100words). Decide about the
types of news each of you is going to write about (sport, national,
international….)

2. Share your corrected pieces of news in the Padlet wall and choose the four news
you will be including in your programme.
3. The interview. Now it is time to create the survey. You need to ask 3 different
people 3 questions about a past experience.(have you ever…). Film them with
your mobile phones and decide in which part of the news you are going to use
the survey. You need real testimony to support your news!
4. The basis of your presentation will be a video edited with VidTrim.
5. Now you have to decide:
- STRUCTURE.
o How are you going to structure the news?
o Introduction?
o Are you going to write the headlines on the video so the others can see it
on the whiteboard?
- VISUAL AIDS
o Is there any news in which you can include any video/picture?
o Would you like to film anything that is related to your news?
o Are you going to film any correspondent who is going to present a piece
of news from a different country?
- ORGANIZATION
o Who is going to present the news?
o And the weather forecast?
o Who is going to be the interviewer?
o Are you going to have a correspondent?
