CLIF as a Service: Distributed performance testing in continuous integration...OW2
The OpenCloudware PaaS platform provides an advanced automated performance testing service, based on OW2's CLIF load injection framework. By enabling the CLIF as a Service (CLIFaaS) option for a given project from the OpenCloudware portal, the project team automatically gets a Jenkins continuous integration server enhanced with performance testing capabilities. Leveraging on the OpenCloudware PaaS' core services, CLIFaaS gracefully handles the full deployment, configuration and execution of both the distributed load injection system and the target distributed application. Once the test run is complete, a performance report is automatically generated and the test-supporting virtual machines are discarded.
OCCIware: extensible and standard-based XaaS platform to manage everything in...OW2
The OCCIware project aims at managing in a unified manner all layers and domains of the Cloud (XaaS), by building on the Open Cloud Computing (OCCI) standard. OCCIware Metamodel formally specifies the main OCCI concepts. Today a first EMF metamodel is defined that adds to OCCI new concepts such as Extension, Configuration, and EDataType, addressing some limitations of OCCI.
This session highlights OCCIware platform two main components:
- The OCCIware Studio Factory, allowing to produce visually customizable diagram editors for any Cloud configuration business domain modeled in OCCI using the OCCI Extension Studio, such as the flagship Docker Studio ;
- The OCCIware Runtime, based on OW2 erocci project, including the tools for deployment, supervision and administration, and allowing to federate multiple XaaS Cloud runtimes, such as the Roboconf PaaS server and the ActiveEon Cloud Automation multi-IaaS connector. This talk includes a demonstration of the Docker connector and of how to use the OCCIware Cloud Designer to configure a real life Cloud application (a Java API server on top of a MongoDB cluster)'s business, platform and infrastructure layers seamlessly on both VirtualBox and OpenStack infrastructure.

This presentation will report on the progresses of the RISCOSS methods and software. Supported by the FP7 program, RISCOSS develops a risk management-based methodology to facilitate the adoption of open source code into mainstream products and services. RISCOSS develops a method and a software platform that integrate the whole decision-making chain, from technology criteria to strategic concerns. Using advanced software engineering techniques and risk management methodologies, RISCOSS develops innovative tools and methods to identify, manage and mitigate risks of integrating third-party open source software. RISCOSS not only enables users to collect informed intelligence on open source components, but goes one step further by offering risk analysies that adapts to individual business situations. RISCOSS delivers a complete solution rather than a piecemeal approach to enable mainstream product developers to safely integrate open source software in their developments. Itself an open source project, RISCOSS is open to thirdparty contributions to help the platform grow in functionalities and make the transition to a fully marketable product or service.
CHOReOS: "Large Scale Choreographies for the Future Internet", from theory to...OW2
The CHOReOS ‘Large Scale Choreographies for the Future Internet’ European FP7 project that started 2 years ago, and is linked to OW2 Future Internet initiative, has now reached a certain level of maturity that is starting to gives concrete answers on how to move from choreography enactment theory, to its actual practice.
More precisely, CHOReOS has defined several methods, toolkits and artifacts to enable this innovative distributed way of coordinating services, while at the same time dealing with some of the inherent difficulties to enacting choreographies in an [Ultra] Large Scale context. For instance, this covers being able to ‘execute’ choreography specifications over a network of discovered, dynamic, Business and Thing-based services.
This presentation will cover the aforementioned topics and specific CHOReOS developments that were undertaken in its second year, while putting them in perspective of a simple practice-oriented and business-driven use-case in Air-Traffic Management.

When I was a young engineer, I grew listening to an old software engineer that said too often: "You don't know, what you don't know".
As years passed, that strange motto started to make more sense for software development. We send zip files or gits with the code of our products to other people in a professional context, too often without really knowing what kind of third-party code and licenses are inside.
In this session we go through simple techniques to clearly list the third-party libraries, code snippets and marking your own software as yours in a standardized manner. So that the next time you share code professionally, it is easy for others to understand the applicable licenses and copyrights within.

6,6 mln to kobiety (największa grupa wiekowa to panie między 25 a 34 r. - 1,98 mln). 4,6 mln kobiet interesuje się modą i zakupami, urodą - 3 mln, a kosmetykami 2 mln. Sporo? No to zestawmy to sobie jeszcze z wynikami badań, które pokazują, że blisko 40% Polek wybiera swojemu partnerowi większość ubrań i kosmetyków!
Nic więc dziwnego, że społeczności pachną i pięknieją. Marki kosmetyczne szukają tam swoich klientek i o tym w bieżącym magazynie piszemy.
O głos poprosiliśmy więc głównie płeć piękną specjalizującą się w komunikacji w social media: Martynę Kłosińską (Zjednoczenie.com), Joannę Stopyrę (Beauty Management PR & Marketing to Women), Annę Ledwoń (ClickCommunity), Ewę Piechór (Grupa IQS), Jagodę Prętnicką-Markiewicz (Sentione), Dagna Ważyńska (Knowledge Hub).
Ponieważ w komunikacji marek kosmetycznych ogromne znaczenie mają liderki opinii, to o przykłady najlepszych i najgorszych praktyk w branży poprosiliśmy szanowane blogerki: Katarzynę Tusk i Karolinę Baszak.
