  1. Trends are showing that people are connecting using these platforms more and more
  2. Nielsen recently did a survey that showed that people are spending more time online, and using a variety of devices including smart phones and tablets
  3. People are spending 24% more time on social media
  4. The way people are connecting is also changing with the rise in mobile usage. Online communication is often the main way people discover and engage with MORPC.
  5. Lots to share; online platforms are an effective way to fulfill our obligation of informing the public
  6. Includes goals, policies and procedures for staff, and quarterly analyses
  7. Top 10 posts based on topic, broken down for each quarter. After third quarter of 2012 – all images.
  8. Shows how visitors arrived at our website; Facebook is a referral
  9. Sitemap was previously organized by dept.; new sitemap tailored to visitors
  10. In one day we gained over 80 followers and took advantage of the attention by posting a positive photo, which got one of our highest engagements
