This document outlines the agenda for a national symposium on challenges and opportunities for sustainable groundwater management in Nepal. The symposium consists of an opening session with welcoming remarks from organizers and guests, followed by two technical sessions on groundwater policy and potential/recharge in the morning. The afternoon consists of a technical session on hydrogeology and groundwater quality, followed by closing remarks. Presentations will cover topics such as the role of government agencies, climate change adaptation, modeling, recharge techniques, potential studies, and contamination issues.
