The prayer before class asks Jesus to send the Holy Spirit to help students understand their lesson, guide them, keep them attentive, and inspire their teacher. It asks that through learning, students may seek the goodness of life Jesus has prepared for them in the future. The prayer after class asks God to bless everything learned in class with inspiration and saving help. It asks that through Jesus, students may find the purpose of what they learned in their life, home, and with neighbors, both today and in the future.

1. PRAYER BEFORE CLASS
Jesus, great teacher and our Lord, you were sent by the Father to teach us that he
is the source of all that is good, the fount of wisdom and knowledge. Gathered
today in the room, we ask you to send the Holy Spirit to help us understand our
lesson, guide us in everything what we will learn from our teacher, and keep us
good, attentive, and active students. Inspire our teacher, may he/she be your
effective instrument, and that from him/her we may seek the goodness of life you
prepared for us in the future.
We ask this prayer through you, who live and reign with the Father and the Holy
Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.
PRAYER AFTER CLASS
Lord, may everything we did in our class be blessed with your inspiration and
continue with your saving help. Let everything we learned find its origin in your
wisdom and through you may we find its purpose in our life, in our home, friends,
and our neighbor today and in the future.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
