Weekly Progress
This week we try to touch switch circuit by IC WB2080. The WB2080 is a touch pad detector IC
which offers 8 touch keys. The touching detection IC is designed for replacing traditional direct
button key with fixed pad size. Low power consumption and wide operating voltage are the contact
key features for DC or AC application.
From the experiment I found that the interference signal at the input of IC WB2080 circuit while
the wire is electronic wire. But, when I select shield wire use instead electronic wire, the
interference signal is found to be very low and the output are more stable.

The WB2080 is a touch pad detector IC which offers 8 touch keys. The touching detection IC is designed for replacing traditional direct button key with fixed pad size. Low power consumption and wide operating voltage are the contact key features for DC or AC application. From the experiment I found that the interference signal at the input of IC WB2080 circuit while the wire is electronic wire. But, when I select shield wire use instead electronic wire, the interference signal is found to be very low and the output are more stable. Figure 1. Application Circuit Figure 2. Touch switch circuit by WB2080 Engineering Analysis Strong Point The output of circuit has a Logic it’s easy to use with a microcontroller. Week Point WB2080 is surface mount.
