This document contains the solutions to a regression analysis of television ratings data for three major networks: American Broadcasting Network (ABN), Bellmore Broadcasting Service (BBS), and Colonial Broadcasting Company (CBC). The summary analyzes the effect of several factors on ratings, including whether a movie is based on fact or fiction, stars involved, and competitors' ratings. Ratings were higher for ABN than CBC and BBS. Fact-based movies had significantly higher ratings than fictional movies by 1.401 units. Fact-based movies also had fewer starring actors but higher ratings both with and without stars. Higher previous program ratings and competitors' lower ratings positively impacted a network's ratings.
