This document outlines the work, education, professional development, and work/life balance goals of an individual pursuing a career as a strength and conditioning coach. For work experience, the goals are to gain volunteer experience in the field during their undergraduate degree and become an elite AFL club strength coach by 2020. The education goals are to complete a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science by 2017 and Australian Strength and Conditioning Association levels 1 and 2. Professional development goals include improving communication, interpersonal, and industry knowledge skills. Maintaining work/life balance is also a priority through continuing to play AFL, spending time with family/friends, and healthy eating/exercise.
