Festivals have a long history dating back to 1500 BC in India where they were held to honor gods and deities. Festivals involved dramatic performances, music, dances, races, and sacrifices. Many villages had guardian deities they celebrated. The Chinese Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the Lunar New Year involves decorating lanterns, family reunions, games, and parades. The La Tomatina festival in Spain started as anti-Franco protests but is now a giant tomato fight attracting 20,000 participants. The Monkey Buffet Festival in Thailand involves feeding over 600 monkeys as appreciation. The Baby Jumping Festival in Spain has men dressed as devils leap over lying babies. Major festivals

Stage props play an important role in separating good plays from great ones by helping to establish the setting. When making props, they must fit the period and vision of the director, be recognizable from a distance on stage, and prioritize visibility over fine details. Safety of all involved is the top priority in prop design and construction.

Pots research

Michael raedecker research

Although simple, his paintings have great attention to detail and texture through the use of embroidery. The emptiness conveys a surreal and dream-like sense of space that portrays themes of isolation, tranquility, and flowing emotion.
Grayson perry research
Grayson Perry is an English artist born in 1960 known for his ceramic vases and cross-dressing. He often depicts stories on his vases, including his female alter-ego Claire from childhood. His creations are bold with bright colors. Perry's father left when he was young, which had a strong impact on him. He now lives in London with his wife and child. His work reflects his childhood problems and lack of guidance. He dresses as a woman and tells the story of his alter-ego Claire in various mediums including ceramics, printmaking and performance.
Costume research
Johnny Depp wore bold outfits in two Tim Burton films that looked ridiculous on others but that he pulled off to create new characters. K-Pop groups change their hair and outfits to match their songs' themes when releasing new albums or songs. The document discusses outfits from creative industries and describes creating an outfit for a model that reflected four personalities: elegant, wild, brave soldier, and bold.
Elisabeth le court research
Elisabeth LeCourt is a French artist who resides in London and creates unique clothing designs using unconventional materials like paper and maps. While her creations cannot be worn, they are exhibited in art galleries worldwide and have brought her recognition in both the art and fashion industries for her ability to transform simple materials into pieces that appear to be made of traditional fabrics.
German Expressionism
German Expressionist films of the 1920s used stylized, non-realistic sets and lighting techniques to convey mood and deeper meaning with limited budgets. These films dealt with dark psychological themes rather than standard genres. While short-lived, Expressionism influenced later films through its artistic control of scenery and lighting. German filmmakers who emigrated to Hollywood in the 1930s brought Expressionist techniques and influenced genres like horror and film noir. Elements of German Expressionism remain common in modern films through its legacy.
