FSU Medical School provides telemedicine services to underserved patients in Panama using portable videoconferencing technology. Doctors at FSU's campus in Florida are able to examine and diagnose patients in Panama's remote Filipina community via live video connections using the TESTM portable exam station and Avaya Scopia videoconferencing software. This allows FSU students and doctors to bring specialized care to Panama patients who otherwise could not afford to travel for medical help.
