coordinator of this project
The agricolture school “D. Sartor”
was funded in 1954
the objective was
“The education of the popular classes and
farmers of the Treviso countryside”
The school, equipped at the same time
with regular courses of professional
education,
becomes an institutional reference for
the whole rural area
Today
the agrarian and environmental school
Domenico Sartor
offers new possibilities of education to
the students and to the whole society
of the territory in which it works
The ISISS Sartor has a central school, in Castelfranco Veneto and an
associated center, in St. Gaetano of Montebelluna
In total there are about 600 students and about 100 teachers
In our school you can study agriculture and
transformations of products.
Students study in the classrooms but they have
internship and laboratory activities.
In our school there are technicians specialized in the
grows of animals

(rabbits-hens-chicks)

They take care plants, trees, cultivations,cereals

(maize-barley-wheat)
European Projects
For Italian schools, for our school,
European projects represent
an important occasion
to meet each others,
to know and exchange some points of view,
to grow together
This is for us the 4th Comenius and the themes
developed in 10 years has been all very interesting
(National Parks, Energy,
Integration...)
This project about food is very important because
there are many aspects that involve our students, the
didactic dimension and the whole society.
We are very happy that the 2nd meeting of
Comenius project is here, in Italy.
Dear teachers,

nature... and our (traditional) food
