The document presents a case study on different modes of production for manufacturing speaker workshops. It shows that as production scales up from one-off to artisanal to workshop models, per unit costs decrease significantly while total investment costs increase. The largest decreases in per unit costs occur between one-off and workshop models, while very high volumes are needed to see decreases between workshop and hybrid models. Engineering drawings are also provided for an iNecklace product design.
