Norwood Musicians
Hit the High Note
A stunning Sefton youth concert, held last Monday evening, featured a
brilliant performance by the Norwood Wind Band. The event, organised
by the Sefton Schools Music Service, starred the breath taking singing
of the Aurin Girls Choir from Hungary and featured a selection of local
school wind bands.
Norwood was represented by Alex Nevins (baritone), Luke Threlfall
(trumpet), James Ashton (cornet), Sol Wilkinson (cornet), along with
Joseph Capp races Aimie Blundell, Lucy James, Sally Murray and Sophie Wright playing
through the tunnel. their clarinets.
The concert also included a combined schools choir based at Holy
Family Primary. Representing Norwood was Ruby Fellowes whose
beautiful voice greatly enhanced the performance of the choir. Everyone
agreed it was an excellent evening.
