Some of his promotion ideas include uploading the film to YouTube and using relevant tags, creating social media pages and groups to share the film, and advertising locally in New Earswick through Facebook groups.

“Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything
except what you are going to do now and do it."
Introduction
If you are a musician, you probably have certain ideas as to how you can make
money with your music. Unfortunately, a lot of musicians think that the only
option for them is to hit it really big or just treat their musical career as a hobby
that they do on the weekend. This really is too bad because if you think outside
the box and you look at your musical skills as an asset, you can make serious
money with your music. You really can. You just have to look at the big picture.
You have to understand that you are able to do something that many people are
not able to do. If you have musical skills and talent, people will pay for that skill
and talent. You just need to be clear as to the many different situations in which
people would pay for your musical talent.
This book is dedicated to opening the minds of musicians all over the United
States regarding turning their musical skills and talent into a full-time income.
Keep in mind that a lot of these techniques take quite a bit of effort. Things aren't
going to happen overnight.
The key is to pursue as many of these money-making methods as possible so you
can have many different small streams of income. These streams of income can

then scale up with time. Also, you can add all these different small streams of
income to a decent full-time income.
I know that your biggest dream right now is to do music full-time. With these 30
money-making techniques, you can get there sooner rather than later.

“You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them.”
Chapter 1
Work With a Social Media Expert
Thanks to social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, musical
acts have to use the power of social media to get the word out regarding their
skills. You have to understand that there are a lot of people who would be
interested in the music you are producing. However, they won't be able to put
cold hard cash in your hands if they don't hear of you.
Social media is a very powerful platform because it works on a viral model. If you
connect with the right people, they may have a big following, and those people
might also have big followings of their own. Your message can easily reach an
exponential amount of people if you reach the right kind of people.
There are many ways you can work with social media, but I would suggest you
use EasySocialMediaUpdates.com. This tool allows you to update your different
social media accounts across a wide number of platforms. It's easy, it's painless,
and it doesn't take much time. By leveraging the power of social media using
tools like EasySocialMediaUpdates.com, you can ensure that your music is
consistently updated online. This can go a long way in helping you build a solid
brand for your music business.

9.
Also, these tools can help you streamline online fan engagement. Instead of
engaging with your fans on an accidental basis, social media management tools
can help you engage with them in a systematic and methodical way. This can go a
long way in viralizing your content. Ultimately, your goal is to use social media to
network with people who can lead you to solid music industry contacts. Never
underestimate the reach of social media networks.

Chapter 2
Create a Business Around Your Music
One of the biggest reasons why many musicians fail in their efforts at making
money off their skills and talent is because they don't look at their music as a
business. If you are able to wrap your mind around this concept, you would be
able to achieve more. When you treat your music as a business, you could be
more systematic and methodical. This allows you to think in terms of different
product offerings as well as different marketing channels. This increases the
likelihood that your music business would succeed.
Here are just some ideas that I can throw out there regarding how to create a
business around your music.
First, you can sell template-driven customized music i.e. These are
template-driven, meaning you would customize the music, but it really takes only
a few minutes for you to customize the music because it's already recorded. There
is already a foundation for the music. This is extremely important because you
don't want to compose totally original music each and every time. You're going to
work for minimum wage if you do that.
You do not have to be a producer to take advantage of this method as Artist you
can do Mix-tape features like Reggae Artists who do dub plates.

11.
Another thing you could do is to sell and resell background music for videos on
micro-outsourcing websites Online. There are a lot of corporate videos that need
snappy jingles in the background. You can make quite a bit of money simply
reselling a lot of catchy tunes that you compose.
Another proven income stream is to sell original music score on freelance
platforms. There are all sorts of video games and digital media being created
using freelance platforms. These content creators are always looking for music.
You can get in touch with them and hire out your music composition skills.
One of other approaches you can look into when creating a business around your
music is to set up your own online music store. This is a great idea because you
only need to record music once, but you profit from it many times. Every time
somebody downloads, they pay you for the download. This can add up for quite a
bit of money. The best thing about it is you record the music only once.
Another approach is to sell your music at affordable rates. You can offer really
low rates for your music. The whole point is to get your name out there. Once
enough people use your music because it's so cheap, you can then scale up for
higher-paying freelance gigs.
The Secret

12.
The real secret to creating a business around your music is the whole concept of
passive income. The key here is to work once and sell musical content many times
over. That's how you get ahead. That's how you truly make money. If you were to
compose original materials each and every time, you are probably going to be
working for minimum wage.

Chapter 3
Sell Features and Hooks
In the course of your musical career, you would probably come up with all sorts
of hooks, riffs, and musical features. You need to record all these and look for
online platforms where you can resell them. The secret to making a decent living
selling features and hooks is to offer to customize them. In other words, you're
