Interview: with a fan of the game – answers from Fraser Coffey
1. That’s it’s a wide open world game where I can do whatever I want out of the many possibilities available in the
game, for example hunting different animals, such as deer, eagles, elks and fish.
2. Far cry 3 because I believe that the story was very good, with interesting and unexpected twists and I liked the style
of play, however the graphics in far cry primal and far cry 5 are the best as these two games are the most recent
ones.
3. To be a big step up from the last game, with a better story (more twists and more important characters), better
graphics (even though primal and 5 are good, there is always room for improvements).
4. I play far cry whenever I feel like I would need some free time to relax, as it is a nice free-flowing game, and I
usually play 2-3 times a week for a few hours each time and in my opinion I don’t think I play enough but I would
like to play more often, if I had the time.
5. The first two games were good at the time, however the story and graphics were very average after playing more
recent ones, such as primal, due to the time it was made in. After playing 3 I was hooked and after 4, 5 and primal I
believe it is one of the best franchises in the gaming industry.
6. Of course. There are so many unique things that you can do other than the main story, for example exploring the
world and completing minor challenges (such as liberating hostages captured by the other cults/tribes).
7. I feel like the multiplayer system could be improved so you could share those experiences with friends, for example
co-op survival in an open world (just like the single player world).
8. I’ve been playing for at least six years and I am still enjoying the game, it never gets old.
9. Personally I would say that Far Cry is on a different level compared to other Ubisoft games, with the style of
gameplay and graphics, which is why it’s so popular.

Far Cry 4 was the next game in the fan’s favourite franchise,
being the first of the collection to be released originally for the
next gen consoles (Xbox One and PS4). Only taking 2 years to
be released after the previous game in the installments Far Cry
4 was released in November 2014, pleasing the Far Cry fans,
as they didn’t have to wait as long for number 4.
Taking place in Kyrat, a fictional Himilayan country, the story
follows a young Kyrati-American, Ajay Ghale, as he is trapped
in the middle of a civil war, involving Kyrat’s Royal Army,
controlled by tyrannical king Pagan Min, and a rebel
movement called the Golden Path. Ghale fights against Pagan

Next to be released was Far Cry Primal, a spiritual predecessor
of the main Far Cry series. It is the first game out of the Far Cry
installments to be set in the Mesolithic age.
The story revolves around a caveman, Takkar, who begins as
