Habits and routines: things we do regularly.

Facts: things that are always or usually true.

Expressions of frequency
It is expressions that show us how often that the things are doing

Expressions of frequency are usually put in the end or at the
beginning of a sentence. Ex:

Every Friday Morning I eat eggs.
Adverbs of frequency
Always = sempre 100% .
Usually= geralmente 80%
Often = com frequência 75%
Sometimes = quase sempre 50%
Hardly Ever= quase nunca 30%
Never= nunca 0%
EX: Verb
Verb I sometimes play chess.
I am always happy.
Adverbs of frequency go before the verbs.
EXCEPT
In the case of the verb “to be” , the adverbs of frequency
goes after the verb “to be”.

Present Continuous
Use
We use the present continuous to talk about:
Something that we are doing now.
Ex: Jenny is doing her homework.
Temporary situations.
Ex: My cousins are staying with us this week.
Form
We use the verb “to be” (just in the present) + the verb with
the termination –ing.
When one word finishes with “e” we substituted just
putting the termination –ing. But with the other letters we just
put –ing.
