The document discusses how harmony was lost from creation due to temptation and sin, which caused people to no longer understand God's wisdom in creation. It says harmony can be restored through the presence of Jesus, as God chose to send his Son after the Fall to "enflesh the divine" and reveal the hidden language of creation. It also talks about how St. Francis of Assisi, through his life of prayer and penance, was able to see creation in its original state of harmony, which resulted in him receiving the stigmata.

The Story of Salvation: A Narrative Theology of Hell—Robin ParryGospel Conversations
In this third talk of our Hope and Hell conference, Robin paints a sweeping picture of the story of salvation beginning with creation and ending with the eschaton. He then poses the significant question—which fits best into this picture—hell or universal salvation? This talk is quite awe-inspiring—not because it advocates universal salvation (which it does) but even more because it stretches our horizons beyond individual redemption into the purpose of the cosmos. In developing his theme, Robin draws heavily on the magnificent Patristic fathers and their grand conception of the irresistible goodness of God.

This is a collection of some of the best writings on the topic of the Holy Spirit and beauty. Not many have written on this issue and so these few are special.
This is a collection of writings dealing with losing the Holy Spirit because of falling away from the faith. Rejecting Christ looses your salvation and also the Holy Spirit.
This is a study of Jesus as the light of the Gentiles and the glory of Israel. Jesus was a universal light to both Jews and Gentiles, Nobody needs to stay in the darkness, for the light of Jesus is everywhere for all people.
This is a collection of writings dealing with the Holy Spirit as a spirit of truth to guide the Apostles into all truth, and to lead them into understanding of what is to come.
This is a study of the teaching of Jesus when he used paradoxes to make His point. He use some hard language to understand, but it made His followers dig deeper.
This is a study of Jesus as the son of man. He made this title the main one he used for Himself, and so it has a significance that we often do not grasp.
This is a study of Jesus being crucified all over again. Those who abandon their faith in Jesus are doing just that, and this brings shame on the name of Jesus.
In this talk we move past the grand opening of Hebrews into the guts of the argument; how Jesus is superior to the entire religious system of the law but not only that - how he has totally eclipsed the religious system of law and Moses with the 'system of the resurrection'. All of these grand themes are crystallised in the strange governing theme of 'Melchizedek'. We unpack all of that in this talk - and we also confront the scariest passage in the NT along the way! May this bless you and help transform your minds.
Jesus was speaking of patience and enduranceGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus speaking of patience and endurance. Believers were to suffer great persecution, but they would not lose a hair is the endured with patience.
This is a study of when the Holy Spirit came down on Jesus as he was being baptized. He was identified by John the Baptist as the one who would baptize with the Holy Spirit.
This is a study of Jesus being watched to the very end. Many of the women who watched Jesus die on the cross are mentioned, and many more are assumed to be there watching.
St Augustine laid the foundations for the doctrine of Hell in his epic tome the City of God. But did he get it right? Tony gives a penetrating diagnosis of where Augustine's thinking had 'code errors' that distorted the gospel and predisposed him to the idea of hell as never ending torment. Unfortunately the church of Rome validated his thinking and excluded the broader eschatology that we are now beginning to realise was the orthodoxy of the Patristic Fathers.
2. Loss of Harmony
What happened to remove harmony from Creation?
Temptation and sin
God needed to punish the sinners
What happened as a result of that sin?
People were no longer able to see God’s wisdom in
creation
Difficulty understanding “the book” of creation
3. Restoring Harmony
What is needed to restore that harmony?
The presence of Jesus
God chose to send us his Son AFTER the Fall
“The summit of creation is the Incarnation”
4. Ways Jesus Restored
Harmony to Creation
“Enflesh[ing] the divine.”
“God was made visible as a part of Creation.”
“…Revealed the hidden language of creation in his
divinised humanity.”
“To know Christ is to rediscover the language of
Creation.”
5. Franciscan Understanding
Through his “life of prayer and penance,” St. Francis
of Assisi was able to see Creation in its original
state of harmony.
BUT, this “anticipated state of redemption” resulted
in his stigmata.
Editor's Notes
View of Creation as gift of loving God helped Francis act peacefully in this situation, and encourage peace at the same time.
